ARC, or Advanced Reader Copy, refers to pre-publication copies of books sent to readers for early reviews. These reviewers provide invaluable social proof and guidance to potential readers, enabling them to make informed decisions about purchasing the book upon its official launch. 

When you sign up for the ARC team, you will be contacted by the publisher or author and sent a free advanced copy of the book to review. They will keep in contact with you frequently prior to the launch, encouraging you in your reading and providing information on how you can leave your review when you are finished. When the book launches officially, this is your chance to leave a review! Authors love to see reviews in the first few days of a book launch!
